In Part Two of the December edition of Sabé Spotlight, our culinary tour takes us to Rockin’ Cajun, Little Vice, California Grill, Plunge & Boulevard 574… from all of us at Sabé to all of you, we’d like to wish you a very Happy Holidays and New Year!
1. Rockin’ Cajun Seafood and Grill
Rockin’ Cajun is a family-owned business that serves up New Orleans classics in the perfect casual atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. Take the time to partake in a fresh seafood boil (shrimp, crawfish, crab legs and lobsters) or spoil yourself with Southern Louisiana seafood restaurant classics. No matter if you are craving Gumbo, Jambalaya, Étouffée, Shrimp & Grits, Chargrilled Oysters, or Po-boys, they’ve got you covered!
2. Little Vice
Little Vice was started by two childhood friends with a dream of opening a Baja-style eatery inspired by the food they’ve enjoyed over the years traveling and surfing in Mexico. They have created a casual and comfortable atmosphere using high-quality ingredients, and they source organically whenever possible. The food pairs beautifully with a craft beer, natural wine or a fresh Sabé margarita.
3. California Grill
California Grill strives to offer only the freshest ingredients, and they deliver a fantastic dining experience. A family owned and operated restaurant located just across the street from Whittier College, California Grill has been serving food up “Fresh, Fast and Fun” since 1996. They are a proud American restaurant with a California twist, and there are some very tasty Mexican dishes on the menu.
Plunge is a vegan-friendly location located on the second floor of the Seaside Beach Club. They have a menu for everyone, with the freshest local ingredients and the best view. They serve up everything from succulent oysters to cheese boards to delicious salads. Pick a glass of your favorite wine or sip on a fresh Sabé cocktail.
5. Boulevard 574
Boulevard 574 is the re-imagining of the former Boulevard Bagels Eatery. They kept some of their most popular dishes and expanded the menu with new, homemade favorites and a great selection of craft beers, wine & Sabé cocktails. Whether you are in the mood for breakfast, lunch or dinner, Boulevard 574 has something for everyone. Stop by, have a drink & see whats new and exciting!
